Wind Turbine Inspection Overview
As certified experts for wind turbines, our focus is on assessing the structural and operational safety of WTGs. As members of the BWE Expert Advisory Board, we ensure the highest quality standards alongside every report.
Recurring Inspection (WKP)
Structural safety inspection every 2–4 years in accordance with DIBt guidelines by an accredited Type C inspection body.
Condition Inspection (ZOP)
Snapshot of the technical condition of a WTG — upon ownership transfer, for insurers, or on a regular basis.
Commissioning Inspection
Extended WKP report combined with ZOP of all installed components and verification of contractual fulfilment.
Damage Assessment
Expertise covering rotor blade damage, gearbox bearing damage, main shaft, blade bearings, tower head bearings and yaw drives.
Rotor Blade Assessment
Inspection by drone flight and, where required, rope access or aerial platforms. Thermal-flux thermography for structural defects.
Valuation Report
Based on the German Real Estate Valuation Ordinance, we determine economic success and risk factors.
Endoscopy
Condition assessment of gearboxes using endoscopy, supported by oil sampling.
Drone Inspection
State-of-the-art drones with high-resolution cameras for cost-effective and precise inspections.
Operations Optimisation
Azimuth calibration and drivetrain optimisation to increase yield.
